Homegroups are an extension of Sunday morning in that they allow our church community to break down into smaller groups and build relationally with each other. Whether it is your first time to CCK or you’ve been here for years, homegroups are the perfect place to see your faith grow as you share life and support each other. It is the best time to come ask questions, develop friendships with people who care for you and get connected to the church community.

We are in pursuit of two key truths: incarnation and reformation. We long to see the genuine life of Christ Jesus formed in each of us personally, and this means incarnation. We also seek the reformation of our culture through both individual and group involvement in our local community. To help accomplish this, we have a strong emphasis on studying the Word, worshipping together, caring for each other, and involvement in our communities through work and service.

Our home group is called to give our worship to the God of glory with a focus of gratefulness to Father for His loving-kindness and faithfulness. We desire to influence our communities by applying the spoken word to our lives and encourage one another in our growth in Christ-likeness, that we may be “equipped for every good work.” (II Timothy 3:17)

The 4 words that best describe our home group are Die…Love…Serve…Laugh. Learning to die to ourselves and live for Christ and His purposes is our primary focus and when we do so, we learn to love as He does, serve has He wants us to, and laugh throughout the process, because God is good. Through dynamic worship, prophetic prayer and a willingness to be honest and transparent, together we will find the pathway to freedom and abundant life.
