“If you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sin.” Matthew 6:15

The Christian life is a life of reciprocal obligation. Never was our walk intended to be one sided, especially in the area of forgiveness. Reciprocal obligation demands that we return in like manner as we have received.

Tradition has made forgiveness unconditional when in reality Jesus placed major condition on it. In no uncertain terms, Jesus stated that to receive forgiveness, we must extend it. Our willingness to forgive those who have hurt us is a condition that qualifies us to be forgiven by our heavenly Father.

In this booklet, “Playing God” Pastor Norm gleans insights from the life of Joseph that took him from prisoner to Primeminister. He establishes the fact that to withhold forgiveness is to set ourselves up to “Play God” and as a result, subject ourselves to the torment of unforgiveness. He goes on to share how, in His sovereign and providential care, Father uses this difficulty of misfortune and wrongful circumstance to conform us into the image of Jesus Christ.

In this booklet you will discover:

  • A god called unforgiveness
  • To forgive is to forget
  • What our enemies mean for evil, God means for good
  • How to overcome the torment of unforgiveness
  • How to release the sin you’ve held against others
